Valley Barrel Furniture is proudly based in the heart of the Hunter Valley, NSW, and ships custom handcrafted furniture Australia-wide.

Formerly known as Vought Wooden Furniture, we began in a humble backyard shed in 2011, fuelled by a passion for fine woodworking and a desire to create something meaningful from recycled materials. As the business grew, so did our vision — leading to a new home at the Hunter BEC building in Kurri Kurri, and a new name: Valley Barrel Furniture, rebranded in 2017.

We specialise in upcycling authentic wine barrels into modern, functional, and beautifully crafted furniture and décor. Every piece is made with care, precision, and a strong commitment to sustainability — aligning with the values of the circular economy by giving premium materials a second life.
